ten gmail invites

Yeah OK, another Gmail post after I promised to never speak of the dark beast again.

I checked today and Google has blessed me with ten invites, so they're all available on a first come basis. Rather than bore everybody with "click here to email me" links, I'll just post all the links below and ask that you all obey the "one per customer" honor system.

If you haven't already heard about Gmail, it's a new search-based webmail service that offers:

  • 1,000 megabytes (one gigabyte) of free storage

  • Built-in Google search that instantly finds any message you want

  • Automatic arrangement of messages and related replies into "conversations"

  • Text ads and related pages that are relevant to the content of your messages

We've managed to give away all 61 Gmail invites so far. Will add more as I get them.

ha! OK, that was kinda funny Mr Burch. Good thing I wasn't drinking milk, because it would have been all over my monitor.

THe first thing I thought when i read that was "UH OH, THREAD PIRATES!"

But it could be worse, at least there is one less "HEY, GMAIL INVITES!" post on ye ol' interweb.

Hopefully I'll be posting anoter 10-20 invites shortly.

Thank you very much for the invite (#44). I have been looking for a gmail account for a while now.

Just so happens a co worker wanted one too and was at our house celebrating new years with us and he signed up for one too (#34)... he sends a great big thanks as well.
