Latest Flash Player penetration stats up

Wondering how Flash Player 7 is doing out there? Pretty well, particularly overseas for sure! Latest numbers for FP7 (just released, for up to June 2004) are:

US: 66.7
Canada: 75.3
Europe 81
Asia 76.9

Canada is beating them out in Flash Players 2-5 though. Go Canada!!

Edit:

I forgot the link! Yikes -

I'd urge some caution on comparing regions like that... the results for the total sample have a margin-of-error of 5% or so, and when this is broken down into geographical areas then the margin rises for each individual area.

This regular consumer audit is a good way to see trends, however... the rate of increase remains startling... with 'way over 90% of consumers able to immediately see SWF video that's why we've seen so many sites move to it recently. The individual numbers may not carry predictive value, but the overall trend lines remain very valuable. Cool...?

Oh I wasn't being serious with the "Go Canada" :) Must be in the olympic spirit or some such. But that is good info to have regarding the margin of error. Thanks!

Doesn't seem to be in the stats that are listed. I forgot the link in the original blog - you can check the stats directly here:
